My Top 9 Makeup Geek Shadows!

Makeup Geek is an American company created by Marlena! She built this business from the groud up and has made so many wonderful makeup pieces! Including Eye Shadows, Pigments, Blushers and Brushes! Her products are loved by so many youtubers such as; Jaclyn Hill, Kathleen Lights and Manny Mua! So here are my top 9 favourite Makeup Geek eyeshadows!

Shades from left to right:

Vanilla Bean, In The Spotlight, Creme Brulee.

Grandstand, Cocoa Bear, Roulette.

Cosmopolitan, Cupcake, Mango Tango.

The first shade is called Vanilla Bean! This shadow is beautiful and one that i use everyday without fail! I use this all over my lid to help set my primer and it is perfect! Vanilla Bean is described as a light shimmer with a peachy beige undertone! Although i do feel like it is more matte! This shadow will be perfect for anyone with a fair complection!

The second shadow is one of her foiled eyeshadows and is a little bit more expensive than her normal eyehadows! But they are extremly pigmented and feel a lot creamier than a regular shadow! With a regular shadow; Mac fix plus can be used to intensify a shadow whereas with a foiled eyeshadow Mac fix plus isnt needed!

This shadow is called In The Spotlight and is described as being a Soft pink with coral undertones, in the pan i feel it does look slightly pink but when swatched it has a slight peachy undertone too it! This would be a perfect shade for either highlighting the inner corner, brow bone and even the tops of the cheeks!

The third shadow is called Creme Brulee and it is the perfect transition shade for those with fair/ medium skin tones! It is described as being a medium sand colour with a soft matte finish and it has a warm undertone to it!

The next shade is Grandstand and is another foiled eyeshadow and it is gorgeous! This photo does not do it justice! This is such a beautiful bronzy/taupe shade for all over the lid! As you can tell this shadow has had quite a bit of love! It is described as being a medium rose gold with slight taupe undertones!

This shade is called Cocoa Bear! It is the perfect shade to warm up any look and to deepen up the crease! If you are slightly darker it could be used as a transition shade! I use this shade on the outer third of my eye and under the lower lash line! It is described as being a matte reddish brown!

The next shade is called Roulette and it is such a unique shade! It is a gorgeous shade for all over the lid! It is super pigmented and feels so creamy! It is described as being a rosy, burnt sienna with a sliky shimmery finish! This shadow was first seen in a the Vegas Lights palette that Marlena created but since then has made them into single shadows!

Cosmpoitan is the next shade and hands down is my favourite shadow from Makeup geek! It is super creamy and pigmented! I use this shade all over the lid then i put cupcake in the crease and its stunning! This shade is described as Rose Gold with gold flecks and a shimmery finish!

This shade is called Cupcake and is my second favourite shade! I use this shade in the crease as it is a light warm pink! it would be perfect transition shade for anyone who has a fair skin tone! It is described as being a matte warm pink!

The last shade is called Mango Tango and it is a peachy pink shadow! Like all over makeup geek shadows this one is just as creamy and pigmented! This shade would be perfect for spring and summer as it is colourful but still a very wearable shadow that anyone can use! It is described as being a peachy pink with flecks of gold!
